My buddy Sean Fagan recently (today actually) ran across an old blog I did last year apologizing for not blogging in a while. That blog was pretty much followed by 10 months of darkness.
So I’m not promising this will be the best updated blog in the world, but I’ll try.
Anyway the site is almost ready for primetime. As you can see there is a store, which may soon be awesome (haven’t actually hooked it up to an account yet so hold onto all that money you’ve worked so hard for, for the moment. We’ll let you know as soon as we’re ready to be merchants.
But just because we can’t sell you anything directly from the site at the moment, doesn’t mean we can’t help you get your dose of Kechal Comics goodness. If you just have to get your hands on UnderWars or Tart Vol 1, check out our shop local tab to find stores that currently sell our books. Even when we can sell directly, this tab will stay active as local comic shops are the lifeblood of the industry and we’ll be happy if you get your books through them.
Not ready to spend 13 bucks on Tart? Heard it’s good, but want to read a little first. That is so fair that we have two ways for you to do it. For a buck or for free. First the 99 cent option. We’re ecstatic to be on the ComiXology Submit platform and have issue 1 available here: https://www.comixology.com/Tart-1/digital-comic/47366
Issues 2 and 3 have been accepted and are in the process of being engineered into their guided view as I type (and you read – well maybe not, it is Good Friday. Which I’ve always felt was a pretty terrible name for a holiday, because about this time on that Friday, Jesus was feeling anything, but good). So for less than a King-Size Snickers and just as likely to satisfy, you can have Tart #1 on your phone, tablet or CPU.
But if you really want to be frugal, we’ll let you read it for free right now. Just click here: http://www.kechalcomics.com/our-comics-2/tart/tart-volume-1-adrift/ and follow the prompts to read issue 1 for free right now.
Sure we want you to buy our stuff, but much more importantly, we NEED you to read it.
More blogs coming with news soon (or maybe nothing, I really don’t know, but I’ll try).
